**Beat The Tax!!**
The new HST tax is coming and any Water’s Edge event that happens after July 1, 2010 will be subject to this tax. This will have impact on both the Whistler Dragon Boat Festival and Harrsion DragonFest. However, as per Revenue Canada you can avoid paying this additional 7% if you register and pay for these events prior to April 30, 2010. After April 30, the 7% HST will be added to the registration fee.
If you book early you can beat the tax!!
REGISTRATION NOTES - please read:
The registration fee must be received in full by Water's Edge to confirm your registration for the event.
Registration is required online; payment can be made via c.c. or cheque.
All participants must sign a waiver form prior to participating in any Water’s Edge activity. Online waivers or a paper waiver will be made available to the contact on this registration form prior to the event.
If under 18 years of age, participants must have a parent or a guardian sign the waiver.
NSF cheques will be charged with a $30.00 processing fee.
Should a team need to cancel an event registration with a written notice of 30 or more days, a refund less a 25% administration fee will be issued.
If a team cancels an event registration with less than 30 days notice, no refunds will be issued.
If an event receives an insufficient number of registrations, Water’s Edge may cancel the event with a minimum notice of 30 days. In this case, the maximum liability of Water’s Edge is limited to a full refund of the event registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other costs or expenses whatsoever.
In the unlikely event of cancellation or postponement of the event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control of Water’s Edge including but not limited to, acts of terrorism, war, acts of God and natural disaster, Water’s Edge cannot be held responsible for any cost, damage or expense which may be incurred by registrants as a consequence of the event being postponed or cancelled.
